IMAGE ENTERTAINMENT LAUNCHES THE 51 BIRCH STREET DVD - AVAILABLE AUGUST 14TH!

beginning August 14th. The DVD features a number of great extras,
including a 21-minute piece featuring the entire Block family's
reactions to the film. Meanwhile, apart from pre-ordering the DVD, you
can help us a great deal by requesting it at Amazon, Blockbuster,
NetFlix or your local video store. The more demand for it, the wider

Over 200 friends and fans joined filmmaker Doug Block at the beautiful HBO theatre in NYC to celebrate the success of his film and to launch the television broadcast premiere scheduled on HBO/CINEMAX, Tuesday, May 8th. Block brought cheers from the crowd with a preview of the first DVD special feature, a full length music video of "I Flunked Adultery", by Uncle Josh Vogel, who was in the audience to take a well deserved bow.
The buzz continues to build on the critically acclaimed film as Block and Producer Lori Cheatle have announced that Image Entertainment will handle the DVD release, and that 51 Birch Street will tentatively be available online and in most video stores on August 14.
